1 ingredient crucial for aging skin

The lovely Amanda from The Green Beauty Collective has something to say about aging skin! So here she is discussing about anti-aging: 

So what is "anti-aging"? Is an anti-aging product really going to stop time and take us all back to Woodstock, flared pants and perfectly young, plump skin? You know, the good old days!

Well, yes and no. Unfortunately we can't turn back time, but we can surge our skin with moisture - and that folks is our definition of "anti-aging". So what is this mystery ingredients that is crucial for aging skin? its Hyaluronic Acid. 

What is Hyaluronic Acid? 

In short terms: Hyaluronic Acid is in our skin, we are born with it. It the cushion you feel when you press on a baby cheek (maybe not so much cushion for you anymore). Hyaluronic Acid helps us lock in moisture in our skin.

Can I find it in skin care products?

So is this ingredients really crucial for aging skin?

What's crucial for aging skin is hydration. By using an ingredient like hyaluronic acid, you are increasing the amount of moisture that is actually holding inside your skin. Ever put on a moisturizer and an hour later your skin feel sucked dry? Well, your moisturizer is not doing its job. Skin care products that contain hyaluronic acid are going to increase moisture, hold moisture in the skin and plump and firm the skin (as a result of the "sponge action")
